Vego was completed over 1 week ( 40 hours) this project was entered into a competition for DIIP, therefore needed to fit the brief of Heathy body- Healthy world.

 

This product brings a social, educational and business aspect.

 

Social- The children can use the product with their friends and get more involved in school clubs.

 

Educational- They will be learning about not only how to be healthier themselves but also helping the planet.

 

Business- The product will involve an initial investment however after that it is a self sustained product.

 

This product could be a government scheme where a Vego is given to every school to help the growing rate of obesity and improve the environment.

Customisable and interactive product to encourage young children to be more involved in maintaining their own health and helping the planet.

 Vego is environmentally friendly through generating its own power using the solar panels at the top of the pod. It also collects rain water so that it can self water when the children are on school break.

Each pod can be connected therefore the school can begin to create a microfarm therefore providing a sustainable alternative to big agribusiness and environmentally harmful monoculture.
